Candles

Safety & Care Guide

BURNING THE CANDLE

Failure to follow instructions could result in fire, hazard or injury.
Trim your wicks to 6mm before lighting each time, this helps to avoid smoke and accelerated burning time. Place on a stable, heat-resistant surface away from curtains, drafts, and flammable materials. Always keep out of reach of pets and children. Never burn for more than 4 hours and always allow the candle to cool down and wax to harden before moving. Keep wax pool free of wick trimmings, matches and debris at all times. Never leave a lit candle unattended.

WHEN THE CANDLE LEAKS

As these are more ornamental candles, they will leak if you choose to burn them. When your candle starts to leak, extinguish the flame. As the wax begins to solidify use the soft wax to seal the leak. If your candle is burning too much on one side you may need to adjust the wick slightly, simply recentre the wick using a pair of tweezers while the wax is still soft. Do not relight until the wax has cooled down and hardened completely.

STORAGE

Store candles in a cool dry place below 25 Degrees Celsius and away from direct sunlight to avoid sweating, melting, and discolouration. Cover the candle when not in use to avoid dust build-up.

USING THE MELTS

Simply place one melt in your melt warmer or oil burner with a tealight candle underneath. Using the same or similar scented tea light will create a much stronger fragrance. If the melt is too large for your burner, break into smaller pieces prior to use. Do not move the burner until it has cooled and wax has set. Avoid burning for longer than four hours at a time and never leave a lit candle unattended.
