General Questions

  • Tiinyworlds is a small and slow-made jewellery brand created by Dianne, a self-taught silversmith and sculptor based in Meanjin.

  • All Tiinyworlds jewellery is designed and handcrafted in Australia.

    We are mindful of our impact and prioritise responsibly sourced materials where environmental and social impact is considered and minimised. We use Eco-conscious packaging and donate a portion of sales to Environmental and Human Rights organisations.

    We are committed to embedding more responsible and sustainable business practices, making the changes we can today while continuing to educate ourselves and explore ways to improve.

  • We use a variety of traditional silversmithing techniques to create our pieces.

    Most of our wildlife pieces are created using a process called ‘Lost Wax Casting’, where we first hand-carve the design in wax and then a mould is made. After reproducing pieces from our moulds, we solder on bails and earring backs, and use hand tools to add more detail, finish, and polish the piece.

    Pieces such as our Leaf pendants are usually crafted from recycled Sterling Silver wire and off-cuts.

    All of our pieces are solid Sterling Silver and are designed and handmade in Australia.
    * excluding the chains that come with our pendants, as these are machine-made in Italy.

  • Tiinyworlds is an online store, however, we do occasionally sell at markets and pop-ups. You can see current and upcoming events on the Where To Find Us page

Jewellery
& Product Care

  • Sterling silver requires proper cleaning, care, and storage to last a lifetime and maintain its lustre.

  • If you lose an earring back, please get in touch with your order number. If you live in Australia, we will be happy to send you a replacement earring back, free of charge.

    Please note that they are sent via letter post and may take up to 2 weeks to arrive.

  • Selecting your perfect chain length can be tricky, especially for a gift. If you find your chain is not suitable, you may purchase additional chains.

    *These will be sent via regular untracked letter post, express and tracked options are available for an additional charge.

Orders
& Shipping

  • All items come in our branded Jewellery boxes or pouches.

    Complimentary Gift-Wrapping:
    If you tick this box at checkout, jewellery boxes will be wrapped in nature or insect-themed wrapping paper, and we will include either a blank greeting card or gift tag (based on availability).

    If you would like us to write a message on the card, please leave a note at checkout or get in touch.

    Invoices/Receipts
    In an effort to save trees, we don’t send printed invoices with your order unless you request it.

  • Payment can be made with all major Credit Cards, PayPal, Apple Pay, or Afterpay.

  • We are based in and ship from Meanjin/Brisbane.

    Please note: Everything is made to order and usually ships in 2-7 days. We do try to keep a few pieces made and ready to ship so if you’re in a hurry, please get in touch.

    If your country isn’t listed at checkout, please contact us, and we will let you know if we can ship to your location.

    Delays:
    Please note that there may be shipping delays during busy seasons or if customs clearance is experiencing delays.

    Duties & Taxes:
    Your country may charge duties or taxes on items shipped from Australia. The receiver is responsible for all duties, taxes, or other import fees to be paid.

  • If it has been two weeks since your order was shipped and it still has not arrived, please get in touch as soon as possible so we can look into it.

  • As we are a small business, making everything by hand, we do not offer refunds for change of mind, we usually only refund for faulty or damaged items. Please see the Refund Policy page for more information. However, we want you to love your new jewellery, so if you have any concerns please get in touch info@tiinyworlds.com.au
